Admissions Procedure
The following are the basic requirements for admission to the Vocational Nursing Program, (see the current College Catalog for more detailed information):
- Required interviews with Recruitment Specialist, Nursing Administration, and Financial Advisor.
- Required documentation: admissions application, proof of age (17 years of age), proof of U.S. high completion, GED, California H.S. equivalency, or documented foreign equivalency.
- Required testing – passing score on admission examination (testing hours 9:00 am to 3:30 pm) and clear background check.
- Transfer students – Provide official transcripts of previous coursework for evaluation; grades of “C” or better or its equivalent are required to be considered for credit. Recognition of credits limited, see the catalog for more information.
